On the morning of  Saturday 14th November 2015, His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, accompanied by the Reverend Fr. Paul Diafouka, Parish Priest of the Holy Church of St Irene in Dolisie and Mr. Romeo Gomes, in charge of the construction works of the Holy Diocese, went from Dolisie to Nkayi to visit the Parish Community of the transfiguration of the Lord.

During this one day visit a complete record was made of the work needing to be completed on the unfinished Holy Parish Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, of which the foundation stone was laid in 2007 by His Eminence Ignatios of Pentapolis, who was then Metropolitan of Central Africa, and also had lengthy discussions with the Parish Priest Fr. Dimitrios Oumba and the Members of the Church Council.

In the afternoon, Vespers was held prior to the end of which His Grace spoke to the few faithful in the Church because of the tropical storms, and analyzed the Gospel extract of the next day, Sunday 15th November, (the arable of the God Samaritan). He then met with them all, following which he and his entourage returned by car to Dolisie.
