On 27th December 2016, His Grace Panteleimon, Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, met with His Excellency Mr. Pierre Mabiala, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Congo. Accompanied by the Honourable Mr. Nicholas Perris, Consul General of Greece to the Congo, visited the Minister in the capital, Brazzaville, for ecclesiastical matters. He also congratulated him on the honesty that defines the vast majority of the country’s judges in the administration of justice.

A pleasant surprise was the brief meeting between the Bishop in the Ministry of Justice with the most revered and noble President of the Supreme Court, the Most Honourable Placide Lenga.

His Grace then went to the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, where he had a lengthy meeting with the Head of the Directorate of Private Schools, Mr. Julien Samba on issues relating to the proper functioning of the “Light of the Nations” Orthodox School, after which he departed by air for the Pointe-Noire, the See of the Diocese.
